I have known Laurie for about 24 years. I used to babysit her eldest son Billy when I was 12 years old. She had her daycare back then and has always loved children. I now have a family of my own and my son has been in her care since he was able to attend and he’s now 3 years old. He loves going there and can’t wait to get there in the morning. I didn't have a chance to get my other three children in her care because she was always full, but I always tried. I have worked in many of the local Daycare's and my other 3 children attended them and have to say hers is the best around! I would recommend her daycare to anyone and everyone!

We firs tbrought our daughter, Alice, to Laurie when she was only 10 weeks old. Laurie has worked very closely with us to ensure our daughter's needs are met and Alice absolutely loves going every day. Because of the TV Free environment, the activities (indoor and outdoor) and the good blend of ages, our daughter is very active, happy and eager to play and learn. The personal attention Alice receives has been instrumental in her social development. She is very eager to "do what the big kids are doing". We knew right from the start that bringing our daughter to Laurie was the right choice!

My son Ryan has been with Laurie Davis since he was 1 yrs old. He will be 5 yrs old in December and Laurie has had a big influence in Ryan's growth and maturity. He is independent, eager to learn, and it has amazed me to see how much he has learned. Everyday he gets ready to go to Laurie's and that includes the weekends, which I have to explain to Ryan that Laurie needs her days off too. All the children that go to daycare at Laurie's Love, Respect and Adore her. Ryan has a very strong bond with Laurie as all the other children do. She is the most wonderful daycare provider I have ever known.

I have known Laurie Davis since I was ten Years old. I would walk from school to volunteer at her daycare center. I always admired the way she was able to keep all the kids involved in any of the activities she had planned. In my eyes she was truly amazing at what she did. Ten years later, when my first child was born I was adamant that he would only go to daycare if there was an opening at Laurie’s. I have two children that go to Laurie’s now and they truly love her. As soon as I pull into the driveway they both start yelling “LAURIE!!” I can’t get them out of the car fast enough, they hit the ground running. My children do not simply go to play all day, they go to learn too. Laurie teaches them the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes. They do projects daily, read numerous stories, and have a lot of fun dancing. She has played a huge role in my four year old son Anthony’s early education, preparing him for kindergarten next year. My daughter Hannah, who is not even two yet, is starting to learn her alphabet and she can count to five. I owe that to Laurie. Laurie Davis is not just an owner of a daycare center; she is a very large part of my family. She treats my children with the same love and compassion that I know she shows her own children. My husband and I know that when we drop our children off in the morning they are not only happy, but they are safe. My family has been blessed to have Laurie in our lives. This world would be a much better place for all of our children if there were more people as kind and loving as her. Laurie is a true hero to me and my children and we all love her very deeply.

The Best
Our eldest son now 9 fondly remembers Laurie playing music, reading, and completing fun projects. Today I am happy that our new baby has a safe, comfortable in home daycare, where he feels like his day is an extension of his life with the family. Laurie's life is children. Both my wife and I appreciate her advice. She keeps our baby on his routine. He is always loved and cared for. Laurie is perfect for our children. Our children have grown with her and we appreciate her everyday.

It is a pleasure to write this recommendation for Laurie Davis. She provided day care for our younger son starting at 15 months old. Had we lived in Madison prior to that, we would have placed him with her far sooner. Laurie provides a safe, nurturing environment. She has proved most skilled in meeting our son's needs as he developed from an infant to a toddler and now a preschooler.
Laurie's positive nature and genuine love for her charges, have made us feel secure as parents. We know that when we dropped him off in the morning he was going to have a great day. She read to be son daily and provided him with ample opportunity to go outside and play. She exposed him to music and dance and reinforced good manners. Were we to have another child, we would not hesitate to place him/her with Laurie. She has been a superb child care provider.
